Hi all,

I've been toying around with the idea of a Beastmaster (which I could then swap to a pet/barrager later on) and was wondering what insigna would be recommended / best.

Should I be using beastmasters insignia or stalwart (+10 vs physical)?

I'm leaning more towards the stalwart as it's a +10 unconditional where as the beastmaster's one would have to rely on my pet being alive (but would give me 110 vs elemental).

Any input / ideas would welcome.

Pets don't die too often so they aren't a bad choice. and if you have call of protection, they only die in really tough situations.

Agreed, pets don't tend to die, often they're last man standing. And even if he dies it takes a sec to have him back alive.
I personally always used beastmasters, for this reason.

If you are using a bow it really doesn't matter. Rangers in the backline aren't in trouble unless every other caster is dead, otherwise the lower armor characters are targeted first.

Beastmaster would be better but I honestly wouldn't bother with wasting the inventory space to haul around a second set of armor just for that. Just use stalwart or blessed for everything and be happy.

I agree with Kunder about just putting stalwart on your armor, just so you don't have to worry about keeping other armor for when you decide not to take a pet with you. Since I am short on storage space as it is already, I like slap general use insignias on my characters.
